Today we are going to learn how to make these loverly balls. My husband loves it when I decorate these. He has so many sayings to go along with them.
I know I know...don't judge :)

Here we go....
Take the fabric and cut into 2x2 squares. This would be so much faster if my rotary cutter blade was sharp.
This step will take you down memory lane.
Remember when you had to make pinatas for 5th grade with messy newspaper dipped in glue and crepe paper everywhere and....
oh the memories.
Wrap a 2x2 square of fabric around the tip of a pencil. Then take that end and dip it in a little mod podge.

Now you are going to take that piece of fabric and stick it into the ball. Just a little stick will do.
SO pretty!! Love it!

I've done this without glue by using the end of a paintbrush to push the fabric right into the ball. With lightweight fabric, it stays in place with no problem.
ReplyDeleteCute project!
